Before We Start

Before we take to the studio to design a campaign or a brand, we do our homework.

What is the Current Perception of your Brand? Is there any perception? Is there any Brand? Does anyone know you? If so, what do they think about your product, service or cause? What are the obstacles that keep them from wanting your brand? Are there internal issues - within your own organization that are preventing success?

Through surveys, polling, focus testing and variety of other tools, Wood Communications delivers accurate, strategic information - the cornerstone of any communications effort.

Surveys

Before we start a project, we do a brand audit. We need to know - really know who the audience is and what they think. So we develop surveys and questionnaires - and we hit the streets to get information.

Creativity

We are known for fresh, up-to-date graphic design solutions and breath-taking visuals. But we also provide specific message strategies and language guidelines for internal and external brands, grass-roots campaigns and behavior-change projects. We also provide coaching for press interviews and public speeches.

We are designers, writers, photographers, illustrators, filmmakers, and web builders. We know our crafts inside and out and we follow all the current trends. Good creative directors always have their fingers on the pulse of consumer trends, style trends, language trends and the rhythm of the times. That's our job.

Focus Testing

A creative campaign is no good if it doesn't work or doesn't change when it's supposed to. At Wood Communications we believe very strongly in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of every campaign or project we launch.

We also believe it is important to continue asking tough questions about the communications choices we make and to be ready to change them. We rely on many different social variables for our campaigns: polls, politics, cognitive research and the events of the day. If any or all of these variables change we must be prepared to change.

Whether you are launching a national campaign or a local campaign to raise money for a specific cause, Wood Communications develops strategies that work for you. Our network of media contacts provide us with up-to-the-minute information on issues that can effect a campaign - helping us make strategic decisions on how and where to place precious advertising and promotion money.
